This is anxiety.
Anxiety can feel like intense worry and tension, often without apparent provocation. It can feel like anticipating disaster, often worrying excessively about health, money, family, or work. Sometimes, though, just the thought of getting through the day brings on anxiety.
My clients notice a strong sense of relief when they allow themselves to gently set aside expectations, "shoulds," and pressures and trust the process of a session. During our time together, we will create a unique balance that allows you to examine your current challenges and concerns and discover and explore what is already working/supporting you. With curiosity, humor, and insight we will develop and test a shared wisdom to help you get closer to your desired goal or change.
Taking steps to build new resources during a challenging time or situation may feel overwhelming. It can seem tiring and stressful to consider adding "one more thing" to an already overloaded life.
